Travertine table lamp with brass base, original shade, Italy, 70s, vintage

Elegant table lamp made of solid travertine with a polished brass intermediary, Italy, 1970s. The cylindrical base is made of warm-toned, lightly veined travertine with the characteristic pores and inclusions of this natural stone. A slender brass tube connects the base to the original conical shade in a creamy gold color with a shiny gold rim - a typical stylistic element of the Italian Hollywood Regency look of the 1970s. When switched on, the shade bathes the room in warm, golden light.

Dimensions: Total height approx. 43 cm, shade diameter at bottom approx. 25 cm, shade diameter at top approx. 16 cm. Condition: very good vintage condition, travertine base without chips or cracks, brass with beautiful patina, original fabric shade in age-appropriate good condition. Fully functional, with in-line switch, European plug (1x E27 socket).
