Studio Pottery Bowl with Cigarette Rest, 1980s — organic shape, earthy glaze

Hand-formed studio pottery bowl from the 1980s with an organic, almost eye-shaped silhouette. Two pointed ends with indented grooves can serve as cigarette rests — the piece also functions as a key bowl, jewelry tray, or small catch-all. Dimensions: 16.5 × 15 × 5 cm.

The glaze shimmers in warm mustard, caramel, and earthy tones with dark streaks along the edges — a typical reduction firing effect, as developed in many small German potteries of the 1970s and 1980s. The unglazed foot ring shows the warm terracotta body. Condition: very good, with no chips or cracks.
