Round Mirror Tray Brass, attributed to Josef Frank — Svenskt Tenn, 1950s

Round mirrored tray with a polished brass frame and triple loop brass wire handles on both sides – a design language closely associated with Josef Frank and his work for Svenskt Tenn in Stockholm. The tray measures 30 cm in diameter and is 3 cm high.

The mirror surface shows the warm discolorations at the edges typical of 1950s mercury mirrors – the so-called "foxing" patina, which is considered a design quality and immediately identifies the piece as authentically old. No maker's mark is present, which is why the tray is usually listed on the market as "attributed to Josef Frank". Condition: overall very good, brass with a beautiful original patina.
