Rosenthal Studio-Line table lamp, Bjørn Wiinblad, hand-painted, vintage, 70s
Large table lamp from the Rosenthal Studio-Line, designed by the Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad, Germany, 1970s. The teardrop-shaped ceramic base, finished in a cream-colored, silky-gloss glaze, is hand-painted: a design of deep black and golden-brown spirals, fans, and delicate cascades of dots emerges from a narrow, ornamentally banded neck, encircling the shoulder of the body and tapering into individual floral motifs—a combination of graphic rigor and decorative fantasy typical of Wiinblad. The underside features the hand-painted mark "Handgemalt" and the original Rosenthal Studio-Line label. The original cylindrical-conical shade, made of cream-colored textile, complements the warm base color of the ceramic; when switched on, the lamp casts a soft, golden light, highlighting the silhouette of the base.
Dimensions: Total height approx. 51 cm, shade diameter approx. 38 cm. Condition: very good vintage condition, ceramic base without chips or cracks, the hand-painting is vivid and well-preserved, original shade in good condition for its age with light signs of wear. Functional, European plug, 1x E27 socket.
