Murano Glass Bowl Sommerso Seguso Italy Flavio Poli 1960s

This striking Murano glass bowl dates from the 1960s and is presumably attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d’Arte. The bowl features an intense color effect with transparent, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and brownish tones.

Particularly interesting is the Sommerso technique, where layers of colored glass are encased, creating a special depth. This makes the object appear different depending on the light and viewing angle. The darker enclosed spots at the corners enhance the sculptural character of the bowl.

Murano glass from this period is particularly interesting for collectors because it combines artisanal glass design, color, and decorative effect. This bowl is suitable as a standalone piece on a sideboard, coffee table, or shelf and also works very well in combination with minimalist furniture.

The condition is very good. There is no damage.
