A slender soliflore vase of captivating elegance: From a dark, glossy black glass base rises a finely tapering, trumpet-shaped stem of marbled glass, its violet-amethyst threads running in fine, vertical lines through a milky-white ground – an effect created when colored glass masses are twisted together while still hot, ensuring that each vase remains a unique handmade piece. The mouth opens slightly flared and asymmetrically, in keeping with freehand glassblowing art, while the wide, smoothly tapering base gives the vase a stable, almost sculptural steadiness. A distinct pontil mark is visible on the bottom, an unmistakable sign of mouth-blown glass without a mold seam.

With a height of 24 cm and a base diameter of 12 cm, the vase is generous enough for individual flower branches or tall dried flowers, and asserts itself as a standalone object on a console, sideboard, or windowsill, solely through its silhouette, even without floral content. The color contrast between the deep black base and the light, veined stem makes it a versatile link between classic and modern interiors. The condition is very good, without chips or cracks on the delicate rim.
