Kinkeldey Chandelier Crystal Glass and Chrome, 1970s

Original 1970s Kinkeldey chandelier combining chrome-plated metal with 36 crystal glass elements. The four levels create a clear, sparkling light effect and give the lamp a distinguished, yet for its time, typically restrained presence.

Kinkeldey was a German manufacturer particularly known for decorative glass and crystal lights. The chandelier shows the typical effect of many Kinkeldey designs: high-quality, geometric, and strongly characterized by the interplay of glass and light. The chrome-plated metal gives the lamp a cooler, more modern effect than the gilded versions and thus goes particularly well with interiors with clean lines and a reduced color palette.

The lamp can be operated with 110 V to 220 V; no modification is necessary. It requires three E14 bulbs and one E27 bulb. LED bulbs can be used. If the technical requirements are met — such as a built-in dimmer — the lamp is dimmable. Condition: good to very good.
