Hans Kögl Florentine Chandelier "Wheat Ears", gold-colored, 1970s
A decorative chandelier by Hans Kögl from the 1970s in the so-called Florentine style, designed in the form of bundled wheat ears. The sculpturally crafted stalks and ears give the object a calm, organic appearance and clearly distinguish it from purely geometric lights of this period.
Hans Kögl is one of the designers and manufacturers who popularized the so-called Florentine design – a mixture of classic, Italian-influenced ornamentation and vintage elegance – in European homes in the 1960s and 1970s. Gold-colored surfaces, floral or botanical motifs, and a certain theatricality are typical of this trend.
The chandelier is very suitable for dining rooms, living rooms, or representative entrance areas and fits both classic interiors and eclectic spaces with vintage pieces. It works with 5 E14 base bulbs; LED bulbs can also be used. The suspension chain can be shortened as needed. The condition is very good.
Dimensions: Diameter 43 cm, body height 43 cm, total height with chain 82 cm.
