Hannes Walker Bronze Pomegranate for Stransky, 1980s

This bronze sculpture in the shape of a pomegranate was created by Hannes Walker for Stransky. The object is signed and limited, it is copy 4 of 25. The work dates from approximately the 1980s.

The pomegranate as a motif is particularly interesting because it has a long symbolic tradition and at the same time offers a very sculptural form. Rendered in bronze, it becomes a small, heavy, and durable object with a strong material effect.

Weighing almost a kilogram, the sculpture appears very present despite its compact size. It is suitable as a collector's item, as a decorative accent on a sideboard or table, and as a unique piece in a collection of bronze objects or applied arts from the late 20th century.

Dimensions: Length approx. 10.5 cm, Width approx. 10 cm, Height approx. 9.5 cm.
Weight: almost 1 kg.
