Glass Pendant Light "Granada" Alois Gangkofner for Peill & Putzler 1958

This rare glass pendant lamp, model "Granada", was designed in 1958 by Alois Gangkofner for Peill & Putzler. The lamp combines frosted glass with a brass ceiling mount and features a very calm, clear design language.

Alois Gangkofner is one of the most important German glass designers of the 20th century. His works often show a particular understanding of light, material, and simple geometric forms. With the Granada lamp, the effect is primarily created by the frosted glass, which softly diffuses the light and gives the object a restrained elegance.

The pendant lamp is well suited above a small dining table, in a hallway, above a side table, or as a single light accent in a serene interior. Its clear form makes it suitable for both mid-century interiors and modern rooms with individual vintage objects.

The lamp requires an E27 bulb. If the technical requirements are met, for example, a dimmer in the house, the lamp is also dimmable.
