Glass Pendant Light "Granada" Alois Gangkofner for Peill & Putzler 1958
This rare "Granada" glass pendant lamp was designed in 1958 by Alois Gangkofner for Peill & Putzler. The lamp combines satinized glass with a brass ceiling mount and features a very serene, clear design language.
Alois Gangkofner is one of the most important German glass designers of the 20th century. His works often demonstrate a particular understanding of light, material, and simple geometric forms. With the Granada lamp, the effect is primarily created by the satinized glass, which softly diffuses the light and gives the object a discreet elegance.
The pendant lamp is well-suited for above a small dining table, in a hallway, over a side table, or as a single lighting accent in a tranquil interior. Its clear form makes it suitable for both Mid-Century interiors and modern rooms with individual vintage objects.
The lamp requires a bulb with an E27 socket. If the technical requirements are met, such as a dimmer in the house, the lamp is also dimmable.
Dimensions: Diameter 21 cm, glass length 50 cm, total height with canopy 75 cm.
