Floral wall or ceiling lamp in the style of Hans Kögl · 1970s
Hans Kögl (Germany, active mainly 1960s to 1980s) shaped his own variation of the Hollywood Regency style with his sculptural metal lamps. Recurring motifs from his workshop include wheat sheaves, Florentine blossoms, wisteria, and palm trees — natural forms plastically recreated in gilded or bronzed metal. This floral wall and ceiling lamp from the 1970s clearly follows this design language.
Four flower calyxes surround the elongated body and each hold an E14 socket. Mounted horizontally, the piece acts as a wide, sprawling wall sconce; mounted upside down, it becomes a flat ceiling lamp with a pronounced profile. The dimensions of approximately 84 centimeters in width give the lamp the stage that a decorative vintage light object of this kind deserves.
A decorative statement for collectors of the Hollywood Regency style and everyone looking for floral 70s lamps in the tradition of Hans Kögl.
Dimensions: Width 84 cm · Depth 30 cm · Height 16 cm · 4× E14 socket
