Erwin Eisch Peacock Eye Vase, signed 1987 — Glashütte Eisch Frauenau

Bulbous vase made of mouth-blown glass with the famous peacock eye décor from the Eisch glass factory in Frauenau. Golden yellow to amber-coloured drops lie under clear glaze and shimmer iridescently between violet, pink and turquoise - a modern tribute to Tiffany's Favrile glass, reinterpreted by Erwin Eisch. The height is 16 cm, the diameter 9.5 cm.

The widely flared, wavy rim and the bulbous body give the vase its characteristic silhouette. The original signature Eisch 87 is incised on the bottom, securely proving its authenticity and vintage. Condition: very good, no chips or restorations.
