Deknudt Mirror Column, Belgium, 1980s

Original mirrored pillar from the Belgian manufacturer Deknudt, dating from the 1980s. Currently, two identical pillars are available, which can be purchased individually or as a pair — when placed symmetrically, they create a particularly balanced effect in a room.

Deknudt Mirrors is one of the traditional Belgian mirror and frame manufacturers. The mirrored pillars of the 1980s are typical of the design vocabulary of this era: fully mirrored geometries, clear volumes, and the deliberate use of reflection as a design element. Such objects now combine well with postmodern furniture, Hollywood Regency accents, or modern interiors where a single shiny piece is used specifically.

The pillars can be used as small side tables or as plant stands — in both functions, they act as very decorative objects. The overall condition is good, with age-appropriate signs of wear on the body. The mirrored surfaces themselves are in perfect condition.
