Carlo Nason Glass Table Lamp LT 213 for Mazzega, Italy 1970s
Rare table lamp made of hand-blown glass, designed by Carlo Nason for A.V. Mazzega in the 1970s. The model is the LT 213, one of the expressive glass objects from Nason's collaboration with the traditional Murano manufactory.
Carlo Nason (born 1935 in Murano) comes from one of Venice's most famous glassmaking families. His works for Mazzega are among the classic positions of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and 1970s. Characteristic is the combination of sculptural glass forms with a clear, often simple construction that focuses on the material.
The lamp works with an E27 socket (E26 in the USA); LED bulbs can also be used. The glass is in perfect condition. A collector's item for lovers of Italian design, Murano glass, and Mid-Century lighting design.
Dimensions: Height 37.5 cm, diameter 14 cm.
