The vase offered here features the characteristic, slightly flattened UFO or mushroom shape with a narrow waist and a wide, bowl-shaped mouth – one of the more sought-after and rarer variations of his work. The body has a light, sand-colored base glaze with expressive, dark brown incised and brushed decoration and fine speckling; the interior of the mouth-bowl is glazed in deep brown to black. The piece bears Liebenthron's incised workshop signature on the underside.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDimensions: Height approx. 10.9 cm, diameter approx. 13 cm. Condition: very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks or hairline cracks, glaze without significant signs of wear.
